Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ProPath Recruiting ("ProPath," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use ProPath. If you are under 18, you may use ProPath only with the involvement of a parent or guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.

You must be at least 13 years old to use ProPath. Users under 18 are minors and should use the platform with parent or guardian involvement. Coaches must represent a legitimate educational or athletic institution and must provide accurate verification information. We may refuse, suspend, or terminate accounts that do not meet these requirements.

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for activity under your account. Coaches must verify institutional affiliation before contacting athletes. We may verify, decline, or revoke verification at our discretion, and verification does not constitute our endorsement of any coach, program, or athlete.

Athletes agree to provide truthful measurables, statistics, and academic information. Coaches agree to provide truthful identity and affiliation information. Misrepresenting data — including inflated or falsified measurables, stats, or verification — may result in content removal or account termination.

ProPath is a communication and organization tool. It is not a substitute for compliance with recruiting rules. All users are solely responsible for ensuring their communications and activity comply with applicable NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, NFHS, state association, and institutional recruiting rules, including rules governing contact with prospective student-athletes and minors. ProPath does not monitor or guarantee compliance and is not responsible for users' rule violations.

ProPath does not broker, negotiate, facilitate, or manage NIL deals, and nothing on the platform constitutes NIL representation, agency, marketing, or advice. Rankings, profiles, and exposure provided through ProPath are not compensation and are not NIL arrangements. Athletes and families are solely responsible for understanding and complying with all applicable NIL rules and laws, including NCAA/association rules, state NIL laws, and school policies, and should seek independent professional advice before entering any NIL activity.

You agree not to: harass, threaten, or abuse other users; impersonate any person or institution; scrape, harvest, or misuse athlete or coach data; contact minors in violation of recruiting or other applicable rules; upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the platform. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

You retain ownership of the content you upload (such as film links, photos, and stats). You grant ProPath a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content for the purpose of operating and promoting the service. You represent that you have the rights to the content you upload and that it does not violate any third party's rights.

ProPath rankings are generated from submitted measurables and are provided for informational purposes only. Rankings, profiles, and any coach activity on the platform are not guarantees of recruitment, scholarships, roster spots, playing time, or any athletic or financial outcome. ProPath does not guarantee that any coach will view a profile or that any recruiting result will occur.

The platform may reference or link to third-party services (such as film hosts). We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

ProPath is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProPath and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim relating to the platform will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using ProPath and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already granted, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
